Purposeful Planner Update 2026
I've totally been putting this off because it is so bittersweet.
After SO MUCH prayer and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to not take the 2026 Purposeful Planner to print this year. (you will still be able to use the system if you want so keep reading!)
Eleven years ago, I set out on an adventure into the unknown and it's brought me so much more than I could have ever hoped for or imagined.
We've sold and shipped thousands upon thousands of planners all over the world. The people we've met and the lives that have been impacted, leaves me stunned and so grateful to the Lord for allowing me to do such a thing.
Over the last couple of years, I've wrestled with what to do with the Purposeful Planner. It felt as though I was being pulled in two different directions and truly had no idea what to do. As a business owner, I knew I could keep going. The numbers work. But something in me kept wondering if it was time to move in a new direction.
Here's where things changed unexpectedly…
We decided we would continue and had all of our files submitted to our new manufacturer right here in the USA. We submitted payment for our official sample before we started the run and while we waited for that sample, our manufacturer informed us they would no longer be able to get the binding we wanted. Nor would they be able to get our second choice.
We were left with options that did not meet our standards and ultimately with a decision to make. It felt so clear in that moment. No stress. No panic. Just a simple, "Okay, God."
The door we had been praying to be flung wide open or slammed shut was slammed shut.
To be completely honest with you, I probably should have done this a couple of years ago. But my heart for the community that has grown from this planner was pulling me to keep going. As if changing directions would bring that to an end.
But the truth is, my mission and heart have not changed. And while the planner may have been something that brought us together, it doesn't have to be the only thing to keep us together.
And, although I know my identity is in Christ alone, there is still a piece of me that feels attached to this planner and the business I spent so many years building. It's been really hard to let go. But at the same time, totally peaceful. It's really weird.
I'm trusting God with yet another leap into the unknown. I'm excited to have more time to focus on my writing, blog, business coaching, and whatever God has in store for me.
