How to Read the Bible in Thirty Days

December 09, 20232 min read

In 2022, I took on a challenge I thought I would for sure fail at. I read the entire Bible in just thirty days.

And it changed my life.

So I did it again in 2023 and I'm doing it again in 2024!

I truly believe in giving God our first and our best so giving Him the first month of they year has turned out to be such a blessing in my life. More than any goal setting class (which you know I love!) or workout plan could ever give you, reading the entire Bible in such a short period of time will change you.

This year, I'm offering accountability  inside my free facebook group. Sign up below to join us and I'll send you all the details and links you need!

Reading the entire Bible beginning to end in 30 days is a total game changer. You see the WHOLE story and get a better picture of God's plan for humanity. And you see how it all applies to you NOW!

My Best Tips for Reading the Bible in 30 Days

I know, I know, it seems impossible! But I promise you can do it! I know moms of littles who have done it, people working full time, people running big businesses.. You can do it!

Here's how I made it doable:

1. Use your phone.

I use my real paper Bible any other time but this is about making your reading as simple and quick as possible. You're looking at around two hours of reading a day and truthfully, it's easier on your phone. You're not doing this plan to study or take notes. You're getting the big picture of the Bible in a short amount of time

Grab the plan on the Bible App here

2. Start Early

Each day will take a couple of hours so start early and break it up into 30 minute increments. I wake up early and get my first 30 minutes done before I even get out of bed. I also aim to be at least half way through the day's reading by lunch time.

3. Skim

Skim when and if you need to. Remember, you're just getting the whole story in. You can mark verses to come back to in February. If you're falling behind during the day, this will help you get caught up before bed

4. Listen when you need to

When I have a day that's really full, I'll listen while I'm driving, doing my makeup, or doing my household chores. I don't recommend doing this all the time but just to help fill in when it's necessary. Better to stay caught up in my opinion because falling behind on this plan is not fun!
